Meet Mr. M.I.E. Therapy

Well how's it going blogland? Are you all doing ok in your part of the world? This has been one crazy year...let's just keep looking up and hope things can get back to some sort of normal.

Tonight, I'd like to share this years candy holder I made for Halloween, Mr. M.I.E. Therapy....get it...bwahaha...how fitting...I used multiple svg files from Simply Crafty...I'll list them below with links if you're interested in purchasing any....or go and gander through the store...she's got some awesome files to play with and great how to videos...Enjoy!!!

Simply Crafty SVG Files
WOW....there's a lot of files that I used...I guess I didn't realize it...and most of them are Halloween files to boot....lol...

I designed this so I could take it apart to store more easily....I'm thinking that I might add velcro to the legs and bottom of the base...it will make it more sturdy...

Well, there he is...our new candy holder for this year...I really love how the modeling paste and the glass beads adds so much more texture to the pumpkin body...Everything is hand painted with acrylic paints...I also added stones as weight to the legs and base, then added some newspaper inside to fill the gap...over time, the weight will cave the paper in, so I have learned over time to add the newspaper to fill that void....did that make sense? ...
************
I hope you all stay safe and healthy...hugs from a chilly Charm City...

Happy Valentine's Project 3- All in one gift

Here's the full project that I made...every year I like to try and come up with an all in one, kind of Valentine's Day gift...something that has flowers, chocolate, card and a place for a small gift....so this is this years project...Enjoy!!!

All cut files were from Simply Crafty except for the roses...those were from SVG Cuts...Sandy over at Simply Crafty is having a sale on her Valentine's files right now and I think today is her last day for the sale....
ok, here's my thought behind this....I wanted something different for this year...so I started with the UTV and the little wagon...one thing led to another and this is what I ended up with...I was thinking a double decker wagon...that was I could add the card inside one area and a gift inside the other...the card inside the bottom layer and the gift inside the top layer, or vise versa...

Whach you lookin at, in my best Gary Coleman voice...ha ha...
honey, here I come....lol...
 2 places to store "CHOCOLATE"

this is double sided and lights up....

 This was idea number 2
 this was idea number one...

what I used to make the tag and envie.... I just cut a bottom to the wagon a few times (smaller then the wagon so it would fit inside) and glued together...
Well that's all I have for this project....I hope you enjoyed my all in one Valentine's gift for this year....hope you all have a wonderful week and make sure to stop back...I have some other projects that I made for the teachers and classmates at Miss Ava's school....hugs from a chilly Charm City...

Happy Valentine's Project 2

Here's the second to the 3 projects using the same files from yesterday....
I took the little wagon from Simply Crafty and only made the wagon part with no wheels or handle...and made a lid for the creepy clown to sit on top...also used rolled roses for the feet...so this turned into a gift box...

this is what I used to make the tag and envie...just cut some of the bottom of the wagon in smaller sizes, painted, embossed...

Valentine's for School Bus Drivers

Here's a set that I made for two of our drivers this year...I hope they like them...Enjoy!!!

They have been asking for some of my pepper jelly that I make...so I thought it was a good time to make a new batch just to give to them...and others...

Santa Xpress Lighted Display Snow Globe

Happy Saturday...well it's almost Sunday here...Have you ever wondered how Santa and the reindeer are going to get around once the reindeer get old, and can't do the traveling any longer? Well I do believe I figured out what he will be using...a 4X4, a tiny house on wheels pulling the stables for the reindeer....ha ha....yep, another tiny house to add to my collection....

I have to say, that I really love how this project turned out. I have always wanted to make a snow globe and a lighted display case...so I decided to put them together. I made this for a contest over at Dreaming Tree Christmas Contest. I have to say thank you to the team over there. They have some of the best designs to work with. And so much inspiration from the community. You all are such an inspiration to me. If you take a gander over to the on line store, you'll see a ton of files to purchase...Dreaming Tree Store

I pictured in my mind that Santa and his gang were coming down the mountain into the city...hence that snow globe part...to cover up all of the white space at the bottom (to hide the fans) I used glittered houses and trees to simulate a little town...I chose not to glue anything down though...I wanted to be able to use this display case for other holidays down the road....

I hope you like the videos....Enjoy!!!

after trying to get a good video of the snow blowing, this was all I could do...I got great snowing while practicing, but then when it was time to film, it just didn't blow very good...it seemed like no mater how I taped the fans down or the wedges I used, it would work great...but come filming time, nope- not gonna happen...sorry it's not the best...just know, it looks awesome in person....

some photos of the process...I hand painted everything but the base.
I also added glitter to most everything either with spray adhesive or mod podge and a paint brush...

Santa and his gang....this has what files I used for them....if you scroll down to the next post, you can see closer photos that go to this video...

Thanks for stopping by...I hope you have a wonderful Sunday...hugs from a very cold and wet Charm City.....
