Tiddly Inks Christmas Challenge--Again
Now you say, what the heck is this....Can you guess what song it is? I'm not going to tell you, but you will have to click the link below to find out.....
just a closer view of the flower...I cut this 3 times in white, embossed the top flower using the cuttlebug, added red and green inks to them, then embossed.
I love the dimension that the distress stickles leaves after it dries....I did merge the hippo's with the thinking balloon (sorry, can't remember where I got this one from) using Microsoft Word and printed it out onto white paper. Added stickles around the border....Thursday, December 09, 2010
Tiddy Inks--Christmas Caroling
The theme was to make a card using images for your favorite song. Can ya guess what my favorite song is? I have been singing this song ever since I seen the challenge there...lol....
here are the images that I used from Tiddy Inks--dream castle--red nosed bot--inky critters--the watts ....the car is from MelJen Designs...I colored the images using Prisma pencils and the background is distress inks. Add some stickles, liquid glass and the snow writer pen...
Now I know you are singing this song by now....I know call me weird, but I have loved this song since I was a little girl....Grandma got RUN over by a Reindeer....poor thing...she shouldn't have had that last glass of egg nog...lol...Tuesday, December 07, 2010

I stamped Santa (Tim Holtz die) shaded it in with a blender copic marker...added some Prima swirlies and the poinsettia flower die (Tim Holtz)....paper from DCWV Luxery Stack....greeting from Inkadinkado and Jolee's for the rhinestone.
I added a few flowers and pearls to the inside.......Well that's all I have for today...Stop over and check out what my teammates have created for you to see....they are simply amazing.....Have a sunny warm day in your neighborhood.....Hugs from "Chilly Willy" Charm City ...

Tiddly Inks Christmas Time Challenge
You all know how much I "love" to add lighting to my cards/projects not to mention "windows"... Well it was time I made something for Christmas. I really love how this little penquin (this is just one in a set of 4 to this image) is inside looking out at Frosty. I used Krylon Frosted Glass finish and sprayed on top of the transparency that I used to make the window....it gives it that semi see through look...lol....greeting from Making Memories, lights (EK Success)and tinsel from Michaels...bamboo skewers from grocery store...gotta love cheap finds like these...
here's the inside scene with the Bah Huggabug's and Christmas Joy.
Images are from Tiddly Inks....Christy has such a way with her images that I just love....the fireplace, rug, backboard and outlets are from Starving Artist....Paper is from Cosmo Cricket...you can see the light at the top here...I just cut an X in the crease and slipped in a light that is from Martha Stewert. I love this cuz it is easy to turn on and off the light and even replace it if necessary....
here's the outside front with it lighted ...truly love how the frosted glass finish gives it such a soft glow.....
just a side view lighted....
look at Christmas Joy in there....she could bring joy to anyone's holiday....
StampIt Crazy Challenge 16
and this is how I used this darling stamp....I printed and cut out the images (4 in total), added 3 of them to the front using fishing wire to suspend them between the opening...I used cuttlebug and spellbinder dies to cut the window...I used more of those snowflakes from the dollar store for the glitz behind them....and once again I flipped out the center for added dimension....simple but cute card (I think anyways..lol)...studio G for the greeting....
just a closer view
and here is the 4th little guy....sorry I forgot to take a closer view of him but he is dawling....lol..

Well stop back once again, I do have another post coming....and stop over at SIC and check out the rest of the team's creations......thanks for coming by today...try to stay warm..it's a cold one here...Hugs from Charm City......
DudeTime Doodles Sketch Challenge
here's the sketch above....
and here's what I came up with.....I know--I'm weird...lol... I know one of the rules is, it has to be for a guy...well I got lost a little...so why not a card from a dude, but not to another dude.....lol...when I seen this image, (Cowboy Round Up set)...I thought he would make for a great Santa...lol...the background scene images are from Stamp Scapes...paper from Making Memories...I used Tim Holtz film strip and cut the center out for the greeting....and hung one of those snowflakes that I got a Michaels in a package of 10....gotta love little packs like that...I strung lights (EK Success) from his hat ....
here's just a side view.....you can see that I popped out the top part....
*****************
Well that's all I have for this post..stop over and see what the rest of the team has created..... and make sure you stop back in later I will have another post.....Thanks for stopping in...Hugs from Charm City...

Paper Cubed--To Do List/Organizer
For my project I decided I needed a Schedule with all of my holidays things in one place....so I used this $1 journal book I purchased from Michael's and am using it....I used this darling image from Tiddly Inks --Christmas Avenger....I just love these Avenger images that Christy makes....I also used an owl from Jolee's Boutique that I colored in silver with my paint pen. I used a little globe to add the greeting and trees along with some glitter and beads.....
just a side view...I haven't added the separate thingies yet so I know what section is what.......

PaperTake Weekly--Sketch #51 Challenge
here's a side view.....I truly love how this turned out....and I'm sure you'll be seeing more of these this holiday season...hope you don't get to sick of them.....DudeTime Doodles Dec Blog Hop
you all know how much of a STEELER'S fan I am...well I thought this would make for a great card to send one of my opponents that loves another team....lol....let's go STEELER'S--Let's GO!!!! lol....I walk around at work sometimes and sing this....let me tell ya, I live in Raven's country...and being a STEELER'S fan, I take alot of wrath...and I mean ALOT!!!! So anyway I can add that dagger in just a little deeper I will...lol...all in fun, you know that, right!!! Here in our house, DH--DD and I are all fans of different teams...and we each have our own footballs that sit on top of the entertainment center...and who ever is in the lead for the season that week, their football gets to be out front....needless to say that DD's has been out front for the past few weeks...and she's loving it....she's a Raven's fan mind you....so I thought this card would make it to her book bag one morning before she goes off to school...lol....ok, enough...sorry for my ramblings......Sunday, November 28, 2010
Stamp It Crazy Christmas
here I made a Christmas box using this darling digi image from the SIC Store. Isn't she simply darling? I made this box using directions I had found on a site somewhere....I know I saved the link, I just can't remember where I had saved it to...but I will find it and share it with you....I have another project using these same instructions, but it turned out differently...2 looks from one great tutorial....lol......I thought this would be a cute little box to stuff a present in for someone.....the star is a cookie cutter from Melissa Francis....MS border and leaf punches..Tim Holtz flower...snowflake and bird from dollar store....stamps from Inkadinkado....
it's a pretty tall box...I like that it's abit larger than the normal sizes out there....
just a closer view of the birdie--snowflake and poinsettia made from the die cut flowers.....
and the little cookie cutter....this has been in my stash for a few years...I just loved them when they came out and I still really love them...she has many in different shapes...and needless to say I have a bunch just collection dust....lol....Monday, November 15, 2010
CDAC BDD--Special Release Christmas Images
this is where Santa (Santa Beach) spends his time in the off season....at the beach...look how relaxed he is...all cozy with a fruity drink....barefoot and with his belly hanging out....lol...kind of looks like my DH......but then he realizes he has to get back to work and off he goes.....
The palm tree is from Digi Doodle Shop....quote on the front and inside is a rubber stamp from Repeat Impressions.....paper is Cosmo Cricket....
and this is the inside with poor Daddy just wanting Santa out of his house...lol....don't you just love the look on Rodney's face....tree and fireplace are part of the release....the mirrors are part of the stairs image that is just released to....
here's the full view of the inside of the card...the tag pulls out and a gift card can be added.....Tuesday, November 09, 2010
Papertake Weekly--Sketch 50
and here's how I used it.....I got out my trusty snowman that I just adore....it's a clear rubber stamp from Inkadinkado.....I stamped onto the background, embossed with a Sizzix folder and sponged distress inks then added stickles to Mr. Snowman and the background edges....I also used clear acrylic snowflakes from Heide Swapp and added a red paper clip and white brad to hold them together, then perched a bird button on top of them....
here's just a closer view of the snowflakes and I popped up Mr. Snowman onto some foam board...well that's all I have for today..stop by and see what the rest of the team has created at PTW........Hope you have a sunny day and many thanks for stopping in....Hugs from Charm City.....

Stamp It Crazy #13--Sketch Challenge
and here's what I came up with......we had this darling Santa face to use....one lucky person will win this.....he's such a doll to use for Christmas cards.....lil reindeer man ( I think Jesse James buttons) is a button that I just cut the shank off of the back so it could lay flat and wrapped some lights (EK Success) around his antlers...the sheet music was a download from the net somewhere...I can't remember where I got it from....sorry about that....
just a closer view of lil reindeer man....isn't he just dawling!!!.....well that's all I have for today.....make sure you stop over at SIC and see what the rest of the team had created....they always have some great eye candy.....Have a sunny kind of day.....hugs from Charm City....

Macabre Monday HDH063 - Freaker's Free-for-All
Poor Santa is down to his bones and has one last place to deliver presents to and realizes where it is....lol.....this turned out to be a gift box of some sort......no one in particular to give this to either....I have been dying to use this image from Stamp it Crazy....sorry though, I don't think I gave Santa justice......I also used the row homes from Starving Artist--stickles----grass, fence and trees cut from my Expression----- and MS branch punch layered the trees for added texture.....
here's a side view....it's a pretty deep box.... about 2" deep...I used black stripes with Tim Burton in mind......but I'm thinking it needs a trim around the top and bottom to kind of finish it off.....
just a view on it's side together.......well that's all I have for today....I'm having dinner and cake (home made apple pie instead...lol) for my Father-In-Law today....he's up here from the beach for a few days and yesterday was his 72nd birthday.....so we wanted to celebrate with him.....I hope everyone has a sunny day....Hugs from Charm City.....
