Curvy Card Caddy

It's finally Friday....what are your weekend plans? Anyone going to any Halloween spook houses? I always enjoyed going to them in my younger years...now, I just listen to the stories and all the fun from the kids....

Well today I wanted to share the cards that are in the card caddy that I posted below...I forgot to add them last night....you can purchase the curvy stationary organizer from Simply Crafty...I made these cards some time ago and have prolly shared some of them...these are what I call one stamp wonders...they are very simple (for me anyways) so that you can put a single stamp on it and put it in the mail..Enjoy!!!!

Well that's all I have for today...thanks for stopping by and I do hope you all have a wonderful weekend....hugs from a nice fall day in Charm City....

Garden Shack-Card Caddy Gift Set

Tonight, I'd like to share a little gift set I made using some Simply Crafty SVG's. I totally fell in love with the garden shack when I first seen it. I grew some red/green peppers and some jalepenos and used them to can some red pepper jelly in small jars. I added a little pack of crackers to the inside as a little gift. How fitting for this little garden shack....I also used the curvy organizer from Simply Crafty to hold a set of 8 handmade cards that can be sent in the mail with a single stamp. Here's a little video and photos that follow....Enjoy!!!!

Thanks for stopping by...have a great evening....hugs from Charm City...

Haunted Tree House Tours --Gift Box

Here's a little ditty that I was finally able to put together. This "tree house" project has been on my bucket list of things to make. When I came across the dog house file from Simply Crafty Svg's, and it's Halloween, what better timing to finally make one. And one that's haunted. There really is so much going on, and to be honest, the photos really don't do this project good. It looks so much better in real life...I absolutely love how it turned out...and it's a gift box even...you all know how addicted I am to making gift boxes out of the norm...lol...

I have one video done...I had to go and use a different vid maker, so it's more time consuming...I'll make that tomorrow of the how to, somewhat that is...and I didn't get good photos of it lit up...so I'll try and get some of those tonight....

Well thanks for stopping in tonight...and if you get a chance hop over to Simply Crafty Svg and take a gander through her store...she just released some really cute halloween projects...

Have a great evening....Hugs from Charm City...

The Haunted BBQ Shack

Happy National card making day...today I'm not sharing a card, but a candy box that I just made...I was going to pack my halloween tub away after I made Mr. Frankenstein, but decided to make one more candy box....you all know how I love love to make gift boxes...well here's one that has 3 different compartments....

I used files from Simply Crafty (crazy coffin box--bbq shack and the large tumbler explosion box)to make the box...and the rest of it is from my stash....most things were either colored and cut out, stamped or already cut on the machine...I only had to stamp a couple things...mostly all of those pumpkins....those peski little pumpkins...lol....I also used some glow in the dark embossing powder for a few things....and it really looks so cool in the dark....sorry I didn't get a photo of them glowing....Enjoy!!!!!
 ************

 ********
I do double up on all cut pieces...for the structures I do one piece with the cut marks and then one piece that doesn't have them...the one that has them, I use as the bottom...this way you won't see them on top...did that make sense?

I used chipboard as a stencil as I couldn't find my regular stencil...I like how thick it turned out....

to paint, I painted everything black, inside and out....then dry brushed white, then dry brushed a light blue....I really love how it turned out...

Well thanks for stopping by today...I hope you were able to play some....hugs from a chilly Charm City....

Halloween Trick or Treat Candy Box

Here's a little Halloween trick or treat candy box I made for one of my gb sometime back....the roof lifts off and it's a trick--no candy here--the drawer pulls out for all the glorious candy....the house was made from a template I found on line somewhere and the drawer box was made by me on a whim...the rest are cuts from various places.....sorry I couldn't be more useful on the cuts, it's been sometime since I made this...I just thought with Halloween around the corner, I'd share this....Enjoy
here's a video
I hope everyone has a great evening....hugs from a sweet Charm City...

Home Made Red Pepper Jelly

Yippie Skippie...I am beyond in love with this recipe...the first time I had this was at a Christmas party at work...I have searched this out ever since in the stores...in case you don't know, it's in the jelly isle...they also make other flavors, but this is my favorite...I had come across a video on how to make your own and thought about making some since I grew peppers this year...well needless to say, I will never buy any store bought red pepper jelly again....woohoo...

The first batch I only used jalapenos, per the recipe...the second batch I used red peppers as well...and added a little red food coloring (I had seen someone else do this in another video)...well, it turned out, and I simply just love it....here's a little video ...

Frankenstein Candy Dish and or Gift Boxes

Happy Thursday blogland...today I'd like to share a project that I made for the challenge over at Simply Crafty SVG FB page...I needed a new Halloween candy dish this year...and this is what I came up with...I used a bunch of their files from the on line store and a couple from other sources....

The first video is the finished big guy...at which he stands almost 24 inches tall...and the second video is somewhat how I put it together....I hope everyone has a wonderful day...hugs from a sweet fall day in Charm City....

Happy Birthday Gift Boxes

Happy Tuesday...I hope everyone's week is going great for you so far...it's been a little cooler here on the coast for this time of year...normally, it's so dang hot you can't breathe...how's your weather in your part of the world?

Today I'd like to share a project that I made using the tire box file and their free embellishment bowl from Simply Crafty...I absolutely love their files, but just haven't had enough time to play with them...so, you'll prolly see more of them in upcoming posts....Enjoy!!!!

I tried to make minion boxes...but they didn't turn out so much like them...but hey, I ended up with a couple unique gift boxes....and they are cute...

Well that's all I have for today...thanks for stopping by...and if you can, pop me a line or two and let me know how you like these...or to just say HI....have a great day..hugs from a very nice Charm City....

New House Gift Box

Here is the little gift box I made for Simply Crafty...I used the tent box (turned sideways)--the garden shed box (turned backwards) and the tire box (under the steps as a swing)....I used modeling paste to coat the house and then painted it...I also took the flower box and turned it into an over hang for the front door...and there's a door under the steps that I was going to make open for another area for something little...but decided the tire was in the way...I cut the back part of the roof to open the house for goodies instead of pulling the top off...I'm thinking it needs a little pond with a tent in the side yard there....

You can find these files over at Simply Crafty

The stairs and a few of the windows are from SVG Cuts

Thanks for stopping by today...have a great week ahead....hugs from a very sunny and humid Charm City...
