Make It Crafty--Make a Scene and a Project

Happy New Week Bloggers.....This morning I would like to share a couple of projects....and yes, one of them is the one from the other day that I was going to post..sorry about that.......ENJOY!!!!!!!
********************************
Here is my card for the challenge over at Make it Crafty. Have you heard of this challenge blog? I found it not long ago and have been stalking it ever since....This week's challenge (they are bi-weekly challenges) was a technique challenge with making a scene using 2 or more images. Well, you all know me, I LOVE SCENE CARDS....lol...this was totally up my alley....now normally I like to cut out some of my images, but this one I made a 2-d card -- meaning, I merged all three of my images together and then printed it off that way....But then I made an extra print of the witch and the slimy house and cut out then popped up the roof, hat and bottom portion of the witch image. I used the tropical beach landscape digi but placed the Slimy House on top of the palm tree instead....there's a wonderful tutorial on how to do this on the challenge blog as well....I used all distress inks to color in the images and then used stickles to highlight and add abit of glitz....isn't that slimy house just too kool...if you like this, you should really check out the rest of the digi's there....they are awesome!!!! I can't wait to get some more to play with.....lol......
this is just a closer view of the pieces popped up....
well, it's been a long over due project post...I am so sorry.....the only thing I can say is, life.....I don't know if you remember, but last week I posted a couple projects....this is the third piece to the set that I made for our DD's friend for her birthday........I used an image from Tiddly Inks called Pinky....she's really cute and I love using her on projects.....stop over, Christy is offering 20% off orders over $15.00 ......

here is the complete set......if you would like to check out the details just scroll down the page......well that's all I have for today....make sure you stop back tomorrow for some more projects....Have a sunny sweet kind of day!!!!!....Hugs from Charm City......

Wow! What can I say? I nearly fell off my chair! I just LOVE the drama you have created with the colours!

The colouring of the sand and the ocean is spectacular. I love your imagination. I would never have thought to put these images together. It really has worked so well. I love the colours you chose for the slimy house. It looks so gruesome. heehee

I also totally love your project! It is so funky! Off to read more about it. :)

Thanks so much for joining us on our very first challenge. Hugs xxoo

Gorgeous colours and wonderful scene! Thanks so much for joining in Make it Crafty's Make a Scene challenge, really hope to see you next time. Jill

Nancy, your scene is wonderful, what an imagination you have. Very clever to put Slimy House on the tropical beach. Excellent job of merging the images and your perspective is dead on. Good luck and thanks for joining in on the fun at Make It Crafty!

Fab scene, chickie. I checked out the tut but think it's too complicated for me to wrap my head around (besides not having the software, LOL). You've done such a great job, though. And that 3rd piece to the set was well worth waiting for! WOW, I'll bet she just loved it! xxD

i totally LOVE this!!! i agree with Zoe that i would've have NEVER thought to put slimy house on the beach scene, how very cool. i love seeing people think outside the box. makes me feel all very narrow minded. LOL i just lov how you added dimension by popping up just a few pieces of the image as well. thanks so much for joining in the first of many MiC challenges! hope to see you back for the rest.
