Tic Tac Toe Candy game cubes

Well happy hump day peeps...today I'd like to share a project I've been working on for sometime now. It's a tic tac toe photo cube game. This was from Carolee's Creations...I made this for the challenge over at Tiddly's Challenge Blog but I missed the deadline....but anywhooo, I hope you enjoy this little project I put together....

here's the matching card...all the pattern paper is from the Teresa Collins checking it twice Christmas stack...loooove it!!! lol!!! I used one of those dollar store plastic snowflakes (and some smaller ones)--wrapped it in twine and added a Tim Holtz ceramic tile...

This is the inside of the card...rubber stamped nut cracker and greeting is from Recollections...

this is the top view...I used all different types of chipboard for the x's and o's...some fluff...silver ribbon...some dollar store glass garland...and the little mini nut cracker in the center with a tree ornament and a berry bunch ....

this is the side view....here I added a plastic reindeer that I got from the $ store....trimmed off the legs and screwed him with a wooden knob to make handles on each side...I also added some Provo Craft metal feet to raise the game up off of the table...

the back view...

here's the wooden tray that I decorated with the pattern paper....

do you see the little silly reindeer peeking out...lol...all of the boxes are stuffed with nuts and candy except for the center box....

here's the greeting with the pop up misfits...lol...the digis are from Tiddy Store...

this center box I decorated with the green paper instead of the stripped...I was going for something alittle different and out of the norm...lol...here I have left the tabs on the outside instead of tucking them inside...so if you push down on them the little Christmas critters pop out...how cool...lol...a happy accident..

Well blogland...here's my greeting to you... and a special shout out to all of the Inksters...this was made for all of you!!!! I hope everyone has a very Merry Chriatmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!!!! Hugs from Charm City!!!

Tiddly Inks Christmas-Holidays or a Wintery Scene Challenge

Happy wet and raining Saturday morning peeps...it's such an aweful day outside, so I thought I'd play in my playroom today...I really should be getting Christmas decorations out, but it's just one of those days. You ever have one of those? I've been having major problems with blogger lately. I can't seem to upload photos to blogger using IE...so after, seems to be a long time, I think I figured out how to get around it by using google chrome. I'm not to sure if I like it, but at least I can upload photos to get them up on my blog....any-whoooo, today I have some cards I made for the challenge over at Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog...it's their last challenge of the year.....ENJOY!!!!!!

Here is Mr. Sid in all his glory....images are from Tiddly Ink Store...MS punches...EK leaf punch..Sizzix tree die..for the life of me I can't remember who the paper is from...I colored all in using distress inks and added a layer of Stickles...the snowflake in corner I wrapped some MS twine around it....

here's the inside.....here I used another image from Tiddly Ink Store....what I pictured with this joke was Sid (on front) was all infested with "polar"oids..that's why he was so huge...lol....and then you open the card to a smaller snowman after he had gotten his issue taken care of and went back down to normal...ha ha....
*************
I used more stickles...distress inks...border punches....tree die...
******

ok here's another joke card I made using a different snowman from Christy's collection over at Tiddly Ink Store.....I think this one is my fav snowman so far....I used white glitter paper for snow border...cut the trees out from paper collection (at which I can't figure out who's it is)...colored in images with distress inks...stickles...Recollections glittery ribbon...
ok ok...I know this isn't a Tiddly image...but I just couldn't resist adding a Simply Betty stamp on this card to...he just fits so well...here I let the paper do the scene,...another dollar store plastic snowflake cut in half....rubber stamped the greeting and bird...wet embossed them using embossing powder...distress inks for coloring and of course another layer of stickles....

*******
now how cute is Bot? I absolutely just love the Bot Family that Christy has over  at Tiddly Ink Store....and this little darling is no exception....I decided to make a stand alone card....I printed this out onto a 8 1/2x11" size of water color paper...cut out...then cut layer after layer after layer after layer...ha ha ...no but there is alot of layers in there with one of them being a layer of chipboard....I also use wet glue for each layer,,,this just gives it more sturdyness...I used disteress inks for coloring...stickles and added some lights hanging from his antlers.....

just a side view

here's the inside greeting ...just a simple one...rubber stamped and added EK leaf punches behind it with a few pearls....
**********
Well this is all I have for this Saturday morning...I do hope that you come and play along with the lovely Inksters over at Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog....they would love to have ya for the last challenge of the year.....and now that I think I have figured out my puter issues I do have more projects to share that I've been working on too...So make sure you stop on back in a couple of days...I'm even trying to get a goodie package together for a give away....and let me tell ya, I have been purging my playroom to...so the mound keeps getting bigger and bigger....I hope you all have a wonderful and sunny day....Hugs from a very wet Charm City.....
