ok so I lied down below. Here's a layout I had made for Junkitz but I didn't use it. It's a photo of my niece on a visit here. Isn't she just too cute. I love her so much. Happy Hump Day Evening I just wanted to pop in and say Hi to everyone. It's been a week since my last post. Things here have been so crazy with the rooms getting finished up. The furniture arrived today. But not without some glitches of course. The main piece for the bedroom didn't arrive. So I still need to live out of my suitcases for clothing until they deliver it on the 9th of next month. Then the chaise lounger was the wrong color for the sectional in the living room. So that will be deliver at a later date to. When? Who the hell knows. I am very upset right now with the company. We ordered a new entertainment center with 2 matching bookcases that sits on each side of the center. The delivery guy brought in boxes and said that we have to put them together. Well, excuse me, I don't have to. So we called after they left and was told the guys should have done that. Then they proceeded to tell me that the next time someone could come out was in almost 2 weeks. That is totally unexceptable. I have my bedroom that won't be put back together and now my livingroom. NOT!!! My house has been in such disarray and we were really looking forward to this getting finished so we can work on Christmas. Now I have to wait 2 weeks. The store manager was suppose to call me back tonight, but did I get a call. NOT EVEN!! I'll tell ya, they are so lucky I'm not in a PMS mode right now. lol...we all know how we get when it's PMS time. It makes things even worse. So I will wait til tomorrow morning to call and see if I can get with him and see what he will do for us. After all the money we just spent in his store, you would think that we would make some sort of arrangements. If not, well you can bet your bottom dollar I won't be going there for the next 2 rooms we have to furnish. But on a lighter note, Thanksgiving was great. We had a great time with our family. The food was great if I'd say so myself. We always eat to much on Thanksgiving. But it's oh soo good. And black Friday...my oh my...I got up at 2:30 am to go and stand in the line at Wally World. I was totally freezing. I am one who absolutely loves the cold, but this was bone chilling. I wore 2 shirts, a sweatshirt, 2 pairs of socks, a nice warm jacket, 2 hats and 2 pairs of gloves. And I was still freezing. Scott said I was crazy. But I just love the thrill of getting up early and heading in for all of those sales. I got everything I went for except for the wet/dry vac from Home Depot. So I didn't fair to bad. I was home and back into bed around 9am. lol... I finished up all of my projects for Junkitz and sent them off. I'll tell ya though, my layouts were really cheesy. I just didn't have much time to really tweak them. Not that they would pick me to be on their team. But hey, if you don't try, you'd never know. My 3D project I thought came out great. I love it and can't wait to make more of them. Wish I could share them all with you so you can laugh along with me...lol... Well I'm outta here for tonight. I'm am soo pooped and I want to get some shut eye. We are off to get some curtains for the windows tomorrow and drop off our old entertainment center. Oh and yes, the walls came out awesom. I love them. It's just how I had envisioned them before we started this project. So after my other pieces get delivered, I'll snap some shots so you all can take a gander at the finished room. Have a great evening!!! Hugs from a cool Charm City

Happy Thanksgiving Day Eve I thought I'd pop in and say HI to everyone before I have to get the little one up for school. Today is a half day for her, so she's excited to start her 4 day weekend. Can you believe that the end of November is already here? Then Christmas and the New Year will be here before you know it. Wow, time sure does fly when you get old. I just got an e-mail from Creative Xpress and they put my "Remember I'm Queen" layout in it. It's posted below from yesterdays post... The photo isn't that great either. I am having so much fun playing with all of my Junkitz stuff that I picked up. They have their own box now that I have so much. I was thinking about decorating the outside of it to. The photo above is a board book that I just started and thought I'd share it. I picked up some of the new MM paper line. I'm so loving that line and thought I'd do the whole book with it. I haven't figured if I want to keep it for myself, or give it as a gift for Christmas. After all, tis the season for giving, right? Well I need to get off this computer. Today is a day of cleaning and making my oh so famous apple pies and vege bar (pizza). YUMMY!!! And getting ready for the rest of Thanksgiving dinner. Oh, and yes, we finally agreed on paint color yesterday. WOOHOO...he caved...lol..thank you so much Scott...well, we compromised on color, but I am getting my faux glazing that I oh so wanted to do in our room...I'm hoping it will turn out great..if it doesn't, I know I'll never hear the end of it...lol...he will razz me to eternity... Hope all will have a great day!!! We are suppose to get some snow tonight. I oh so hope we do...I LOVE SNOW!!! Hugs from a cold Charm City

It's Tuesday Morning It's 3:30 am. I've been up since 2:30. I just poured my first cup of jo and thought I would sit here and update my blog. I'ts been awhile again and for that I'm sorry. I know last time I said that I wouldn't let it go for so long, but sometimes things happen. We are in the middle of redecorating our master bedroom and it's taking some time to get it finished. We have a date for the new furniture to arrive, but Scott doesn't think that we are going to make the date for it. He wants to push back the delivery a week, but I don't want to. Our house is in such disarray and we are having Thanksgiving here in a couple of days. So I know we need to get some things going here. We finally got all of the wallpaper and border taken off the walls. Yesterday he was sanding down the walls. He has alittle more to do then we can add the primer (2 coats) and then the paint. The sad thing is, we have not agreed on the color for the room yet. I'm really looking for warm and classy but he has no idea of what that consists of. In his eyes, classy is one color and like a pastel color...argh!!! We all know how I HATE pastel colors...lol..and white walls. I love color. Since the comforter set that we COMPROMISED on is a warm golden suade with a touch of brown, I don't know what would really go with that. I was hoping to mix reds, tans, greens and browns into the mix of bedding. I'm also looking for texture. He hates texture...lol...so right now we are at an impass. We were at Home Depot and I was chatting with a lady and she had mentioned that she had them pick out colors on the computer there. So I might just do that myself. Let's see what the computer shoots out. And I hope that we will like it so it will be so much easier to get colors for the room. Notice I said colors Scott. I know you will read this, so just a heads up, more than one...OK..PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE..lol...and I would love to add a glazing to the walls. Remember how you bawked at the crackle in the bathroom? But now you really like the outcome. So go with me on this...it will be really cool. An a touch of elegance that I am looking for. LOL.. Now on to the furniture. We went shopping to get a new set a few weeks back. We had it narrowed down to 2 sets. Of course the one that I had my heart set on, we couldn't get. I wanted the one that had the canopy. It was so beautiful and elegant. All wood and the carvings were scrumptious. I have always wanted to do a room like you would see in Morocco. With the canopy bed, the warm colors, the white silk hanging from the top of the bed in the corners tied back. A bed fit for a queen/king. Well Scott's idea is always simple. So needless to say, we clash when it comes to decorating. And we compromise alot. So the set that we ended up with is actually a beautiful set. I really do love it (for a second choice) and can't wait for it to get delivered. We haven't done anything to our room since we bought our house, so this is way over due. Now I'm trying to talk him into letting me do the frilly thing above the headboard. Since I couldn't have the canopy bed, I have seen some things that they put over the front that I like. So we'll see how things turn out. The layouts posted above is some work that I have done from pictures taken up in Michigan while I was there. The basic grey layout is actually up on their site. I think I am trying out for the Junkitz design team call, so wish me luck. I have one layout and a 3D project finished. Now I need to do the one of me. And that will be so hard. I don't take very good photos. So I haven't been able to find one that I want to use. Well I'm off for now. Again, I'm sorry for not updating sooner. I want to thank all who have e-mailed and IM'ed me to see if I was ok. I am, my schedule is just so funky right now. I'll be back soon so we can all chat again on line. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Make sure you eat alot of food and goodies. After all, we can...lol... Hugs from a very wet and rainy Charm City

Happy Hump Day I know I needed to update my blog. Sorry guys...I have been on this creative thing these past couple of days. I finally received all of my photos from Wally World. Not to mention all of the photos that I had printed while I was there. So these are what I have been able to add to our album. I have so many more to do. I got alot of inspiration in various places on the net for some of these ideas. So I can't take the credit for all of the work here...I love this internet. There are so many tallented and very creative people out here and they graciously share their work. Thank You... So on a lighter note, well not lighter, but another note...lol...Scott took me off shopping the other morning for bedroom furniture and we walked out of there with new bedroom and livingroom furniture. WOWZERS!!! Do we have alot of work ahead of us these next few weeks. Especially our bedroom. We have not touched that room since we moved into our house about 8 years ago. Does that give you a visual...lol...So he was on a mission to get this finished before Christmas this year. And his wish is coming true. I just can't wait... I went and picked out all of the materials and trimmings to make Kaitlynn's theatre curtain for her bedroom. I think it' going to look so cool when I finally get it sewed and put up in there. I'll have to take a photo when it's finished so everyone can see it. Well I'm off for now. Tonight's girl scouts meeting here. I hope everyone enjoys their evening and all of the layouts I have shared above. Drop me a line and say hi. I'd love to hear from you. And I'll try not to let it go so long before my next update. Hugs from a very comfortable Charm City

It's the day after Halloween---do you know where your kids candy is? Happy November 1st....I got back from my vacation to the tundra country (as my husband calls it) a couple days ago. I stayed an extra week from my original plan. It was so great to visit with family and friends. I even got to visit with people that I hadn't seen in 15 years or so. Oh how time flies when you get older. So this is the costume that I made for Kaitlynn for Halloween. She was a swamp girl. With me staying the extra week, it put me in a bind to get this together. It literally took me all day yesterday to make this. Right up to the time she had to leave to go trick or treating. But I like the outcome and so did she, so I guess that's what counts. I used alot of chesse cloth...and the face really didn't turn out the way I had hoped for. But all in all, it looked great. Well it's been a quiet day here. I really needed it. It's been busy since I got back that I'm glad that I could just hang out. It felt good to take an afternoon nap and rejuvenate to try and scrap some of the tons of photos I took while in Michigan. Speaking of photos, I had a disc made at Wally World and I get back and there were no pics on it. My heart sank. I had already deleted the files from my camera. I had some really special shots of family and friends, not to mention the hours I drove around up at the lakes taking photos of different things. So I called them and they are making me a new disc and printing the photos (all 235 of them) for me to end to me here.....Now if that isn't customer service, I don't know what is. Although I had alot of problems with them while I was there. Something wasn't right everytime I would go and pick my pictures/disc up. The one kid would see me coming and called me the picture lady...lol...hense the screen name, picture mom...lol...if he only knew...my daughter calls me neurotic..heehee... oh well, so I have some quarks about me... Well, this has gotten longer than I had expected. Sorry it has taken me so long to update. But I'm back at home now and hope to update more often... Hugs from a very warm Charm City
