Birthday Wishes Card and Cupcake Box Set

Good Saturday morning to you...I hope I find you all in great spirits even with what is going on...the world is in a very unhappy place right now...so today I'd like to try and give you a little bit of happiness with this new birthday set I made...the card is one I had made sometime ago but don't believe I ever shared it...and the cupcake box is new and is from Simply Crafty Svg ....take a gander over to the store and see what fabulous designs has been coming out...they are pretty cool...the cupcake box has 2 different design lids to it....it's like a 2fer...love those....

I did use some modeling paste and stencil to add texture to the background...then sprayed with some misting spray...used a paint brush also to flick some of the spray...I used an acrylic frame to frame in Tilda....Cupcake box was made using the sprays and some layered flowers...simple...but I love simple, sometimes...haha....Enjoy!!!!

Well thanks for stopping by...please be safe out there...hugs from a very pretty Charm City....

Topsy Turvy Cake Box

Hello everyone...how's things in your neck of the woods...not to bad here, just waiting for lock down to be over...

Today, I'd like to show you my little tug boat I made using the topsy turvy cake from Simply Crafty....I have to say that, this isn't what I had started to make...I was sitting there watching the video, and towards the end of it, one of the pics reminded me of a tug boat...so instead of making a girly cake, I made myself a tug boat....

I used the cake just like it was made except I used the icing for the waves...I doubled all layers...top layer I didn't cut the dash cuts...hand painted everything with acrylic paints and the doo dads were from Cricut Design.....Enjoy!!!!

Here's the new birthday set...and there's even a freebie....

Thanks for stopping...stay safe and healthy....hugs from Charm City....

Easter Gift Boxes

Here's another set of Easter gift Boxes....these are from My Scrap Chick...the cross gift box.....Enjoy!!!

More Goodies from Simply Crafty

Good morning...I'm sharing another gift basket and some cards from Simply Crafty....Stay safe and healthy...
I have to say that most of the things I make I cut out of white cardstock and use acrylic paints and distress inks....sometimes I'll add in pattern paper....but I just like paints...
I used the large square gift box without the lid....added this little chickie, a handle and some grass around the edge...simple and cute little gift box for a little one....

I made this set of cards using one full cut of the layered Easter Egg Card from Simply Crafty...I added 3 more base card cuts, one background(which I trimmed to make smaller) and 2 scraps of paper...there's alot of layers on the front of the card, so I took them and made 4 cards...plus a few buddies and such to go along....
I used textured paste and a stencil for the egg...I don't care for the centers of the letters...thinking I'll change that...
I forgot to add my little buddy to this one....pink flamingo and palms...see what happens when you get in a hurry...oh well, it's still cute...simple, but cute...

I used textured paste and a Tim Holtz stencil for the inside of the egg...
I left this blank inside...I didn't know if I wanted to use it for Easter, or some other sentiment...

Happy Easter Gift Set

Good morning....how's everyone doing in the midst of this craziness? Did you get your TP? Ha Ha...

Today, I wanted to share a project I made for an Easter gift for someone...it all actually started with me looking for boxes to fit my canning jars...I got a dehydrator for Christmas and I've been on this kick of dehydrating everything in the house...lol...and then some...but I wanted to make some meals/sweets in jars and give them away as gifts...so I was on the look out for svg's that I could use...

Over at Simply Crafty, there's a few that work that I got and was in the middle of making the Qt jar when Sandy just released these cute hat boxes...I really needed to add the Victorian Top Hat box and stand to the gift set...look how adorable that file is...you can use it for so many things...you can also use the stand for something else...or even add a different hat to it...but what I noticed as I was putting the stand together was that it would be the perfect tire and axel for a tractor....with a little modifying....just add a base to both ends...

Well any-who, onto my project...Enjoy!!!!
Simply Crafty SVG's used

I fill my bases with rocks/stones/sand then with newspaper to fill the gap up...it's paper, and over time it will eventually sink downward...so I fill it for that reason and to give it some weight at the bottom...

here's what made me think of tires for a tractor...what do you think?

Well that all I have for now...I do hope you and your family remain happy and healthy thru all of this craziness....hugs from a very sweet Charm City....
