Well the cold is starting to settle in here in Charm City. I went out this morning to take some photos and couldn't wait to step back inside. It was just a wee bit chilly. Other than that, it's been rainy these past few days again. Although yesterday we were able to make it outside and winterize a little more. Enough of that boring stuff.....
This week was my week to post a tutorial over at the Hallmark Ladybug Blog and I wanted to show you how much fun I had with the Pazzles rubber stamp kit to make my own stamps. You can purchase the Pazzles kit in the store at Hallmark Scrapbook along with the Tim Holtz Distress inks that I used to mask with. Making your own rubber stamps using your Cricut machine is just another awesom way that we can use it, wouldn't you say. Not to mention how easy it was.... I'd love for you to pop over at the blog and check it out.
I really love how this project turned out. ...it's an advent lighted Christmas calendar that I made out of one of those big wooden paper clips and the Santa cut from Christmas Solutions cart. There are so many cardstock layers and one layer of chipboard in the center. It kind of feels like a sheet of thin wood. I hung the rest of the numbers on the back so it would easy to change out the numbers everyday...

lighted...sorry not a very good photo...but I thought this would be a great little night light for decoration.
Well that's all that's been going on ehre in Charm City...not a whole lot...lol...I hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead..
Hugs from a chilly Charm City
I wanted to post a couple of projects that I made the past couple days...
The first is a mug. I received this cut file from Tracy...thank you so much Tracy...you are a sweetie...here's her blog...take a step over and check her out...she's just an awesom designer...
I just wanted to pop in and post a few cards I've made this past week...not much going on here in Charm City...just a little rainy...
(you can click on photos to make them bigger)
the santa hat and rocking horse I made using the Design Studio for the Cricut then I added quilt batting for added touchy feely...lol...don't you just love to touch cards when you get them in the mail?
Thanks for stopping in and have a Happy Sunday....
Well it's finally here and gone. We just turned off our lights abit ago. It was so sweat to see all of the little ones in their costumes again. With some of them being really creative. I love it. And just think, I was thinking about not handing out candy this year. What was I thinking. Thanks to DH and our little one for basically pushing me to do it, I thank them for it. Thanks guys. You are the best!!!!!
Here's a photo of our little one and her friends. Everyone meets back here at our house and we get photos...lol....like they really think they will get away from that, fat chance...and here's a photo of our pumpkin that we carved out today. You can click on the photos to make them bigger if you would like to.
Here's some cards and a tag with Tim Holt as inspiration. I really love his work and products.
Here's a little bag I made for a challenge over at Hallmark Scrapbook on the message board. If you haven't checked us out, pop on over and play along. The challenges are such a fun way to play with your Cricut machine. Or even just to hang out with us.
Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween. We are off to the beach again. It's my father in laws 70th birthday.
and feeling alot like fall around here in Charm City. We had rain finally yesterday. We needed it so much to. Things here are busy. We are in the middle of selling girl scout cookies with the troop. I love to hate this time of year. Ohhhh the calories...lol...it's so hard not to eat them. So this year I thought I'd only order a few boxes. At which I did really good at. But then I get to sell them at work and that's the hard part. Case after case of cookies just calling my name....lol...
On another note, I haven't done much here in my studio this week. I just switched out my Halloween stamps to Christmas stamps. So I think I'm ready to start making Christmas cards and what'nots....So what are you in the middle of? I would love to see...
Here's a couple of projects that I made a couple weeks back.
This is a light up candy dish I made out of chipboard. I sent this to a friend over on Hallmark Scrapbook site. I think she should have received by now, so I can post it here....I hope she likes it...it's alittle different, but so am I...lol...
Here's a little box I made out of chipboard for a little present at Christmas time. I used a connector from the hardware store for the body and a wooden drawer pull for the head. Isn't she just soo cute? I know, she's different, but I love different...lol....
Well thanks for stopping in. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.
twice in one week....that's great for me....I just wanted to make a short post...I forgot to mention yesterday about the sale going on over at Hallmark Scrapbook site in their store...if you haven't gone over lately, stop, drop and roll right on over....lol...
Hallmark Scrapbook
here's a little fella that I worked on today....still deciding if I'm going to make him into a stand or into a card...each cut was made with chipboard then housed with a layer of material and backed with black cardstock....and the beard and hair I cut from that fun fur stuff you get from the craft store...messy---that stuff is really messy---lots of fur flying everywhere--lol...but it's so fun to play with....
Thanks for stopping by...
hugs from Charm City
Happy Monday everyone....long time since my last post...things here this past month has been really crazy busy..I cleaned out the spare bedroom...and let me tell you, that was quite a job...not to mention we left and went on vacation...and my BIL and girlfriend got married while we were there...it was such a gorgeous day....I'll post some photos on the next post...but the rest of the week wasn't so good while we were there....maybe next year we can have some good weather....
Here's a project that I made for the ladybug's blog...you can go HERE and see the tutorial...not to mention all of the other tutorials from the awesom ladybugs....
this is a little spells book I made out of chipboard...it was for a challenge over on Hallmark Scrapbook's message board...come on over and play along with all of the challenges with us...we would love to see you...
this was for another challenge at Hallmark Scrapbook...I made this bag into a gel window with a stamped scene...and I used the Design Studio to cut the globe out of the center.
yet another challenge over on the message board...we were asked to use the cornucopia from the Paper dolls cart...I made it into a fall plaque that I sent to someone...I hope she likes it...
I have seen these little frankie bags all over the net and wanted to make one using the Cricut...I used the grass border from the paper dolls cart for the hair....
these are some stamped cards...still trying to play around with stamps and coloring....
I made this one for my BIL that just got married...
here's some photos from this past Saturday at the pumpkin patch...the one on the scale is the smallest pumpkin that we had...this was our first visit here to and we loved it....think we will be going back again...
I took this photo of the girls before they went into the corn maze...it was 2 1/2 acres of corn that they made into a maze...DH and I opted not to join them and just hung out and looked aroundthe farm....
this is an awesom gift that was waiting for me in my mail when we got back from vacation...a friend over at Hallmark Scrapbook made this for me...isn't is just wonderful...it goes in my kitchen so well....Thanks so much Carole...you are just the sweetest....
Thanks everyone....just a little update of what's been going on this past month...
Hugs from a very sunny Charm City
