Happy Monday everyone....long time since my last post...things here this past month has been really crazy busy..I cleaned out the spare bedroom...and let me tell you, that was quite a job...not to mention we left and went on vacation...and my BIL and girlfriend got married while we were there...it was such a gorgeous day....I'll post some photos on the next post...but the rest of the week wasn't so good while we were there....maybe next year we can have some good weather....
Here's a project that I made for the ladybug's blog...you can go HERE and see the tutorial...not to mention all of the other tutorials from the awesom ladybugs....
this is a little spells book I made out of chipboard...it was for a challenge over on Hallmark Scrapbook's message board...come on over and play along with all of the challenges with us...we would love to see you...
this was for another challenge at Hallmark Scrapbook...I made this bag into a gel window with a stamped scene...and I used the Design Studio to cut the globe out of the center.
yet another challenge over on the message board...we were asked to use the cornucopia from the Paper dolls cart...I made it into a fall plaque that I sent to someone...I hope she likes it...
I have seen these little frankie bags all over the net and wanted to make one using the Cricut...I used the grass border from the paper dolls cart for the hair....
these are some stamped cards...still trying to play around with stamps and coloring....
I made this one for my BIL that just got married...
here's some photos from this past Saturday at the pumpkin patch...the one on the scale is the smallest pumpkin that we had...this was our first visit here to and we loved it....think we will be going back again...
I took this photo of the girls before they went into the corn maze...it was 2 1/2 acres of corn that they made into a maze...DH and I opted not to join them and just hung out and looked aroundthe farm....
this is an awesom gift that was waiting for me in my mail when we got back from vacation...a friend over at Hallmark Scrapbook made this for me...isn't is just wonderful...it goes in my kitchen so well....Thanks so much Carole...you are just the sweetest....
Thanks everyone....just a little update of what's been going on this past month...
Hugs from a very sunny Charm City
hellooooooooooooooo....sorry it's been awhile since my last post. We are in the middle of cleaning out our storage room/spare bedroom and it's taking forever. We are finding things that we forgot we even had. Or things that having been missing for sometime now. Like a Leapster that we have been wondering what happened to it. WOOHOO...those babies are expensive, and I"m so glad that it's found it's way back home where our little one can play with it again. We got hit with hurricane Hanna yesterday. Flash flooding everywhere. Not to mention the winds. They, once again tore up our tiki bar. I tell ya, we just weren't meant to have a tiki bar in our backyard. But DH will undoubtable screw it back together and try for another season.
On another note, I have been busy making things off and on here in my studio. I'll post them down below if you would like to check them out.
But my best news of this post is that our eldest daughter just told DH and I that she is going to have a baby. Can you believe that? I thought babies were over until a few years down the road. But they are due sometime in April/May. So CONGRATS to Tricia and Ryan!!!!!!!! You go girl!!!!!
Here's some other news that I have been forgetting to share. I entered some photos on HGTV site for an upcoming Christmas special this year. WEll they contacted me and want to use a project that I made. And maybe another one...how AWESOM is that...but it's only a photo thingy...not how to make it on the air or anything. But they are going to put my name and location with the photo....that's ok, I'm still syked....I don't have any dates yet as to when this will air, but I"ll post as soon as I find out when it will be on...
I have been on the look out for a Halloween costume for our little one. She's into these Goth kind of costumes. Does anyone have any web sites that you could share for costumes? I try to make her a costume or even parts of it for her every year. Thanks in advance.
Well, this is it for now. A few more weeks and I"m off to vacation. I soo can't wait...oh wait, I forgot to tell ya. That my BIL is getting married at the beach while we are there. I can't believe it either. So that will be a special time. Our little one is their flower girl to. And DH is best man. It's on the beach at 11 am. If it doesn't rain it should be a great wedding day.
I'm sorry for the photo. With all of the rain yesterday, I just couldn't get a better shot. I will post a better one later once I can go outside in the daylight. Hop on over there and check out the blog. It's filled to the rim with awesom tutorials from the other ladybug team members. They are just the best and most creative ladies I've had the pleasure to work with. Love ya ladybugs.
These other projects I made for challenges over on the Hallmark Scrapbook site
Another great place if you haven't checked us out. Right now Jody and Brad have an awesom sale going on the Cricut cartridges. So pop on over and check out what they are offering in the store. You're sure to find something that you need. I just ordered a few of the cartridges myself. And they are just the best when it comes to sending out the orders. I normally receive my orders within a couple of days too... So check them out...
It's so pretty outside here in Charm City...not to hot not to cool..the sun is shining, and it's just an overall relaxing day,... finally...I've been up since 2a.m. playing in here...I made this project that was alot of fun. It's going to be a birthday box for a gift/gift card for someone. ..don't know who yet, but someone will get it....what do you think? The face is really strange looking..I can't seem to get a good face on anything I make...
I made the face with a ball of newspaper, foli and polymer clay and baked it. I also used newspaper for the inside of the hat to give it some stability. On the backside I used the Basic Grey notch tool to make the notches to thread the twine around to make it look like a corsic (sp?)...This was just a small paper mache box that I had in my stash and I wanted to do something with it. There are hat pins in the hat holding the tag. I also used the Accent Essentials card for the Cricut to make the flowers and the ruffles (scallop).
Here are a couple of layouts that I made last week or so. They are our eldest and I and then our eldest and our little niece...
Well I hope that everyone has a wonderful week ahead. It's going to be another busy one here for me as I'm getting into our spare room to clean it out. I promised DH that I would since he has been so sweet lately. Not to mention he has been on my butt about getting it done....men, they just don't understand....

Happy Monday...
Just a quick note for you today...I've been so busy with our little one's birthday party these past few weeks...we finally had her party this past Saturday...and it was such a great party for her...today is her birthday so I'm hoping to make a red velvet cake for her today for after dinner dessert...she turned 10 years old...I just can't believe that she's that old...Scott and I still remember laying on the bed watching t.v. together with her laying there on our chest and not being very long at all...ohh the memories....
Last week her and I went to the beauty shop and she decided to get her hair chopped off...Sharri (our beautician) took off I think almost 10"...I could not believe that she actually did it...She wants to donate her hair to locks of luv...I'll post some photos of her old and hew look when I upload the photos from my camera...it's just soo adorable on her....
Here's a song that was on another blog (Ingvild Bolme)...I absolutely loved it and asked who sang the song..she was so nice she told me the name of the song and who sings it..I did a search and found it on you tube so I thought I'd share it with you all...Ingvild is such an awesom artist that I would love to share her talent with everyone....here's a link to her site....go and check out all of her wonderful creations....and a big thank you Ingvild for the information...I absolutely love this song...now I need to figure out how to purchase this one...
My Paper Art
And do you remember the bag and card tutorial I made for the Hallmark Scrapbook Ladybugs'blog I posted last week? Well Jody(the owner of Hallmark Scrapbook)was the recipient of the bag and card...it was for her birthday..if you didn't get a chance to check out the tutorial take a gander over and check out all of the awesom work from the ladybug team...they are just the best ladies I've been able to work with.

Now that I have your attention, it's Friday...not that it means anything to me this week (cuz' I'm working tonight), Fridays are normally a great day here for our little one and myself. We usually do chinese and movies.Well tonight, we aren't..since I have to work tonight, I think we are just doing some sort of take out or drive through...
Here's some projects/cards that I've made since I last posted.
These first two are what I made for the challenges over at Hallmark Scrapbook on the message boards. If you haven't checked them out, take a gander over and play along...we would love to see you...
http://www.hallmarkscrapbook.com/phpBB2/
this was a wierd day for me. I decided to make wierd faces on the envies for decorations...I thought this would be a cute way to store some of my fav' cd's here in my studio.
The above one I made using the jar cut from Doodlecharms cart from Cricut. I had so much fun making this one..the paradise words are actually printed onto a sheet of transparency film and ran through my cricut machine to make the cut..the stamps are stamped onto a piece of glossy photo paper after it was cut out from the cricut machine..
The above card I made for a friend that a new baby was just born into the family. the inside pillar actually pops up when you open the card...
this is actually a cootie catcher that I made to use for a table decoration at our daughters 4th of July party.
last but not least is this cropped image...if you would like to see the rest of the photo click on this link. It will take you to a tutorial that I just uploaded. It's my first one...
Finally I am back up and running...after a long couple of weeks of not being connected. My laptop went down, then I fixed it...then my loving husband bought me a new one and suprised me with the UPS guy delivering it to my door....woohoo...this thing totally ROCKS...22" flat screen, tv tuner, loads of space not to mention all of the other bells and whistles....it just rocks I tell ya....can you tell I died and went to computer heaven....
I have some projects to post, but right now I"m stil ltrying to load all of my software to get back to where I was before all of the sogga started...so I"ll leave you with this for today...
