Helloooo Blogland

Howdy Howdy Howdy!!!! It's been such a long time since I've been able to post. So much has been going on. Mainly, I needed a break...really...I felt like my puter was running my life instead of me running the puter....not to mention other things that's been going on....but anywhooo, how the heck have you all been??? Really!!! I would love for you to drop a line or two...I miss everyone...
Have you noticed the new background....lol....this is how I've been feeling, somedays....*smile*...not to mention, school gets out in a week....Ohhhhh MYYYYYY!!! I can tell it's going t obe a long summer...so much on the list of things to do and I'm not feeling the "love" from the little one in helping...KWIM!!! Teenagers....what would we do without them....
Well posted below is my LATE entry into Tiddly Inks challenge last week....I made this card yesterday and thought I had until last night to post...but I missed it....boohoo...and one for this weeks challenge.......ENJOY!!!!!

Here is used Minnie's Berry.....I call her my happy happy Diva...everytime I look at her she brings a smile to my face....although I didn't do her justice...it's been so long since I've picked up a paintbrush....lol....I used SEI (Winter Song ) paper...Making Memories ribbon, metal word plate rub on alpha stickers, Recollections flowers pom pom ribbon, MS border punch

here's the inside using I think was a freebie from Christy...thanks girl.... super simple card but I think the recipients will like it.....

And here is my entry into this week's challenge...A treasure diva b-day gift box......I purchased these images a couple months back and have been dying to use them....here I used Pirate Jane Pirate Fun and Treasure Map Colored.....have you been over to Tiddly Inks Store lately....Ohhh My goodness...yes, such eye candy to play with....I want all of them....lol....really really do.....I constructed the box out of 2 pieces of 12X12 black cardstock....sorry no instructions...I had done this awhile ago and it's been sitting here on my desk....I also used a guitar pic ontop of the skull image in left corner...it's one that changes as you move it....pretty cool...I picked that up at the local 7-11 store...lol.,..

here I scrunched up the fence (EK Success) and just made it alittle more rustic....

here's the handle to open it...I used a piece of wooded fence, a door plate and knob added some rhinestones and hot glued it to the box....
here's the gift tag (I think this was a freebie from Caz..thanks girl)...I added some charms using swivel connectors found in the fishing section at Wal-Mart... sorry for the photos...they really suck....lol.... just a closer photo of the guitar pick.... here's the opened view of the box.... Well peeps....thanks for stopping in today....I hope to be popping in on a regular basis now...but I really do have a summer full of reorganization, purging, swimming and hangin out with the new baby soon....oh, ya keep an eye out for another diaper cake....baby shower is later this month....lol.......Have a sunny day....Hugs from Charm City....

Wow the treasure chest must have taken a long time. There are so much detailing on it.

I adore the wood bridge handle, tres clever, the coins and key on the Birthday tag and what looks like fencing punch around the bottom of the lid.

Fantastic work. Looks like you put your time into this one for sure - it is divalicious!

Hey, girl! Welcome back to blogland! Love your card and that box if fantastic. I hear you on the crazy summer schedule; mine is looking nuts already, too. I swear, summer doesn't get to be about relaxation, no matter how much we want it! Sheesh!

I'm going to OC in August to go skydiving, though. I think I should stop and have a drink at Seacrets.
