PaperTake Weekly Anything Challenge

Paper Cubed Sports Challenge
For the life of me I couldn't figure out what to make. We are avid football fans, as you know...lol...but my mind was so blank.....I remembered I had this wooden puzzle frame that needed some lovin, so I figured I'd use that to make something.....I also turned it into a picture frame.....
************
I used paper from Karen Foster--Tim Holtz door knob metal number and memo pin--other wooden frame/puzzle pieces, wooden #1 (underneath metal number) and ball and chain
here I added the doorknob to pull the puzzle pieces out of the frame....they are very tightly squeezed in there to I just wanted a way to pull them out.....I added the knob on top of a metal washer from the hardware store....made the football out of chipboard...

StampIt Crazy Happy New Year's Challenge

just a closer view of the distressing from the wheel...I just used the wheel and the scor pad and just distressed the paper around the image.....trimmed the corners with a circle punch and added stickles....
and if by chance you have never seen one of these little darlings, here's a photo....I got mine in a kit from Making Memories a few years back, but I am sure they have these in the hardware section at the hardware store....

DudeTime Doodles Inspiration Challenge
and here is your inspiration....look at those yummy colors....aren't they just fun....
here's the deets
1. Use the above picture to get your mojo moving. 2. You are not required to use BDD images although it would make us really really happy and giggle a lot if you did! 3. MUST be a masculine themed card, you can use humor, innuendo, be a little naughty, sarcastic, but it has got to be for a DUDE! 4. Be sure to use the InLinkz your creation over at DudeTime Doodles. You have until January 4th - that's two weeks - to link up your projects. We will chose our Top Three Winners and Top Blog Winner and announce them there!
for my card I used Pete the Plumber....we actually have a friend who's a plumber and thought this would be a cute card for our little one to give him sometime....she liked it, so that was a milestone in itself...lol......I also used Copics...wooty woot woot!!! Me and Copics really don't match, but I thought I'd just mess around with them and see what happened...not bad for an amiture....a second grader....lol....I got the joke off the net somewhere....so you have a guess? How many? LOL!!

Macabre Monday HDH068 - Octopodally Ominous
Ok-- so I pulled it off....I am so not good at less is more...lol...I think it came out pretty well though and it's going to be one of those "special" note cards for our daughter...from Mom, ya know what I mean...I thought the inside could read "it takes courage to be yourself"....she's at an impressionable age and peer pressure is in high demand. Here's how I total my tally's...lol....
1 card base--1black mat--1image--1image cut out (which was stamped at the top where you would pull the paper from the pack and it gives you the holes..smart aren't I..added texture..a freebie)--1pc twine--1 greeting--2 photo corners--tallies to a whopping 8 things...I'm sorry, but this is a major thing for me...I just love "stuff"...lol...anywhoooooo---stop over and see what the Minions have created for your pleasure...and why the heck not join in....I BET IT'S HARDER THAN YA THINK!!!!!
The stamp is from Stamp It Crazy (Dred lock girl)-- (thanks Barb for the winning goodies)...can't wait to use more of them....paper from DCWV tag from Making Memories, photo corners Heidi Swapp and distress inks....
