And this is him with our poochie. Do you see the sad eyes that he's portraying? He hates his costume (poochie). I mean really "hates" it...the day our little one came home from shopping with DH and she put this on him he came running to me and gave me those sad eyes like, please help me. I knew exactly what he was thinking. I look like a dork....lol...I'm a boy and this is for girls...lol...although it's a very nicely made costume, it's big and bulky and just not him. Our little one (Kait) was planning on taking him trick or treating this year with her. So come Halloween, he laid around all day, not eating basically not doing anything. We thought something was wrong. So we pampered him that day and I wouldn't let Kait take him out treating with her. Needless to say, it really broke her heart and I felt really bad. Anywho, this is the best part, after everything was over with he was all jumpity and barking and being his old self. When I seen that I told DH that he was playing possum cuz he was not wearing that pumpkin costume out in public....lol...I could not believe that our dog was smart enough to do something of this nature. Maybe I'm wrong, but I tell ya, I really don't think I am....and we laugh about it when see his costume sitting there.
The next 2 cards were inspired by my friend Donna (popsicle toes) . She does such amazing work with the Cricut machine and her DS it just makes me drool over everything she makes. ooooooo...look at you! You have been a busy, busy girl!!! Your pics are wonderful and your daughter is too cute in her witch's costume. Oh and your GB is totally adorable dressed up like Tigger! LOVE your doggie in his costume, and your story is so funny!!! Poor little thing was NOT going to be embarrassed out in public! HAHA!! LOVE your cards, Nancy! they look amazing! You did a fabulous job and Donna will be tickled to see them! Awesome work, girlfriend! hugs!
ReplyDeleteNancy these are too cute, the card too! Is your daughter a Girl Scout?! How neat I am and have been a leader to my daughter's troop for 6 years now! I love your little GB in his costume! I think you are right about poochie too, my Roxie hated her costume! She loved taking pictures with, but the one Halloween we bought her a costume and put it on her, she literally sagged her head as if she were just too darn embarrassed! Too fun! Thanks for Sharing!

OOOh Nancy! Looks like you all had a fun Halloween (except of course dear poochie LOL) I've dressed Goliath up at times and he did the same thing. Definitely had that "I look ridiculous" look on his face. Jessie I can barely catch to pick up. Beautiful cards lady! How sweet to say I inspired you! Love reading your answers. I swear the majority of people say RED as their favorite color (including me!) Hugs! D
