Magnolia-licious Design Team Announced - Goodies Added - And a Card

Magnolia-licious posted their new design team this morning. And I am so humbled to be a part of a team filled with such talent. These ladies rock and I look forward to working with everyone. I would like to say a huge shout out to Shawn - Kim - Candy and Mariah. Our behind the scenes team. They make all of this happen. So a huge thank you.

Also in the store, Shawn just added some new stamps and papers that you have to have in your collection. I so can't wait to get some to play with either. So many ideas, so little time....lol..

Blessed Mixed Media Plaque

Happy Monday peeps. Today I wanted to share with you all a wooden plaque, measure just shy of 7" that I picked up from Michael's. I used all kinds of goodies on this and really love how it turned out. It's been awhile since I have played with some of these materials to.....Enjoy!

I'm still learning how to play with foamiron. The pink flowers with stamens inside are the foamiron flowers. This material feels so much like the real thing. I also used some gesso, modeling paste/stencil and some Tattered Angels glimmer mist spray to create the background.  Added some tore up corrugated box as a layer, a bunch of flowers, a couple paper straws and some odds and ends from my stash.

This is a card I made that I thought would make for a cute note card to someone. January is a time for snowmen and winter wishes. Isn't this just a darling image? How about those foamiron flowers. I simply am loving making flowers using this material. Have you tried it yet? If not, what the hell are you waiting for. Stop over at the Magnolia-licious Store and check it out. And you can run this through your Cricut machines or any other one that you use.Steel dies are awesome also. Seriously, this is some kewl material to play with. I have so many ideas running through my head, I just don't know what to make first.

Exciting News and Magnolia-licious Challenge--Lace

I would love to share my excitement with you all. I have been asked to be a part of the wonderful Magnolia-licious DT. After a long stint away from playing with everyone, I am excited to be back. Thank you Shawn and Kim. I look forward getting to know my team members. They are also looking to add more designers to the team if you're interested. I posted the deets in a post below this one if you're interested.

Now onto the challenge for this month...This month's challenge is to use lace on your project...any kind of lace....there's a chance to win $20 prize and be a guest designer next month. ..they have some awesome vintage and other types of lace in the store....So why not hop on over to Magnolia-licious  Challenge Blog and join in on the fun. ......everything else was just things out of my very own vintage stash...lol...the little tea box holder was actually a valentines box that I painted and covered...it was the perfect size to house tea bags....

I have to say that the foamiron flowers feel so so real when you touch them...I can't believe I am just finding out about this material....

Magnolia-licious is now accepting applications for designers to work with our team for a 3 month term. We have just opened up to selling Polkadoodles too, so if you are someone who is interested in both, this would be a great place for you! We also offer Foamiran and would love to have someone who has some experience with this product or is willing to dive in to learning something new.

What We Need
• 3 cards per month
• To be active on social media and promote Magnolia and Polkadoodles on your FB page and various groups you already belong to. Commenting on monthly challenge entries and a few other places.
• Schedule your post on your own blog as well as the Magnolia-licious Blog.
What you Get:
A monthly allowance of 30$ - 40$ US for product in store
30% discount on anything above your monthly allowance
Once a month free shipping
Special pricing on collections when available
If you are interested, please send us the following:
A short introduction of yourself (name, where you are from) and if you are on any other design teams, which is fine. International applications will be considered
